Intimate Photographic Portraits of your Pregnancy: Photography by Daryl-Ann Saunders

Thank you for visiting my new Internet site. I encourage you to contact my studio so you can stop by and view an entire spectrum of my photographic work there. You'll see why I'm uniquely suited to photograph you at this very special time in your life. My studio is conveniently located in the Flatiron area of NYC, easily reachable by the #6, N, R, F, #1, or #9 train at the 23rd Street stop.

In brief, you should know the following about me: I've been photographing professionally since 1989 and have been responsible for providing outstanding photography to my clients in a range of subject matter. My specialty is portraiture, the entire gamut; executive portraits for corporations, environmental portraits for business magazines, event candids, portraits for individuals and intimate nudes for the expectant mother. My regular customers particularly value my ability to achieve not just what is needed, but to strive beyond that to create special and unique imagery. My visual esthetic is both classical and contemporary; whether in b/w or color, in film or digital media.

I began as a self-taught documentary photographer and studied at The School of Visual Arts and The International Center of Photography in New York. I worked as photo editor for two alternative publications while honing my craft and assisting top photographers in the industry. Shooting for publications, my photographs have appeared worldwide in Forbes, Advertising Age, Financial World, Working Woman, Business Week and Money Magazine in addition to others. My imagery has won awards, been displayed in fine art galleries throughout the United States and is held in various corporate and private art collections.

If this online connection is your first introduction to my services, I urge you to contact me: info@portraitsofpregnancy.com with any questions about my services or to see samples of my work. I'd be happy to help you explore options that will provide you with an enriching photographic experience. Sincerely, Daryl-Ann Saunders
